As year one of our project draws to a close this month, we asked some of our project partners for reflections on the activities that they have undertaken to date and their work towards achieving their key aims in the project work plan. Here we catch up with our partner Antonia Dallmeier from TUM who has been working in WP4 - Demonstrated Sediment Management Solutions.
"WP4 will co-create together with the local communities and citizens within the 8 Demonstration Action Sites the optimal sediment measures, based on the findings of WP1, WP2 and WP3, to support the sediment management at river basin scale, including solutions for the restoration of sediment balance, reduction of chemicals and organic pollutants, in the Danube River -Black Sea system.

To facilitate this work in year one of the project, our partners at TUM have established the ‘WP4 Initial Status Questionnaire’, which gathers essential information on sediment-related challenges, planned management measures, stakeholder and public engagement, implementation status, and monitoring plans at the selected sites.
The results of these questionnaires will support the preparation of a key report which will summarise the planning and stakeholder co-design processes at each Demonstration Action site."
