
SedNet is the European Network on Sediments and “aims at incorporating sediment issues and knowledge into European strategies to support the achievement of a good environmental status and to develop new tools for sediment management“, according to the official website. Key to these conferences is the gathering of policymakers, ecologists, engineers, biologists, geologists and other key experts to holistically look at improving sedimentary environments.
Save the date : We are also super excited to announce that our iNNO SED project coordinator Baranya Sándor and colleagues at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics who will host the 15th International SedNet Conference from 27th September to 1st October 2027 in Budapest, Hungary!
This conference is particularly special, as it marks the 25th anniversary of SedNet.
