DANSER Project Kick-Off

4th of February 2025
We would like to thank Albert Scrieciu (GeoEcoMar) for presenting the iNNO SED Project at the DANSER (DANube SEdiment Restoration) project kick-off meeting in Bucharest last week! Albert is not only a scientific researcher and partner on the iNNO SED project but he also participates in the EcoDaLLi, DANUBE4all, and Restore4Life projects, helping to strengthen our shared mission.
DANSER is one of the latest initiatives to be launched under the Danube Lighthouse, and seeks to:
  • Restore sediment balance,
  • Improve sediment flow and quality,
  • Characterise pollution transport mechanisms, and
  • Integrate such actions and knowledge with EU and worldwide counterparts while still sustaining local and regional economies.
The project is in the early stages of its initiation, but you can learn more by clicking here! We wish our sister-project all the very best in the coming years and look forward to hearing more about their success!
