We would like to congratulate our iNNO SED Project partner Albert Scrieciu (GeoEcoMar) for presenting on the project at this year's Danube Information Services Conference 2024 (DISC '24), which was held in Varna, Bulgaria (3rd-4th December)!
The project brings together 46 funded and associated partners and has secured €8.1m in funding from Horizon Europe to develop innovative, sustainable, and scientifically grounded solutions for sediment management for the Danube River Basin.

DISC is an annual conference organized by “GIS Forum Danube”, that has been running since 2002. The aim of DISC is to bring together waterway management organizations, industry, and waterway users, to facilitate a better understanding of the needs and activities that are connecting those parties involved in waterway management and usage.
This year’s conference, which was hosted by the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River, also featured presentations and discussions with complementary projects including DanubeSediment_Q2, SUNDANSE, DISMAR, and FAIRway Danube 2.
